Rene Magritte was known as being a Surrealist artist! He painted the piece below titled, "Golconda". The men in the picture seem to be floating in the air or dropping like raindrops out of the sky.

Since the first day of school seems a bit dreamlike to me, I decided to take a photo of our art room and add a Magritte style video filter to it. Click the video at the top of this post to see the men in trench coats and hats spinning and falling from the ceiling. Now that is as about as SURREAL as it gets!
